Our Pets Are Family

Push through the obstacles to understand the unique status of animals in our legal system.

Animal Law

Animal law is a rapidly growing area of law and involves everything from statutory provisions pertaining to owner responsibility to case law involving pets, exotic animals, farm animals, even wildlife.  Animal law is my expertise. I am a zealous advocate for owners and their pets, and I understand the unique nature of animals in the eyes of the law. I am a former co-chair of the Companion Animal Subcommittee of the Animal Law Committee within the American Bar Association, I have organized a myriad of conferences and continuing education seminars for attorneys regarding animal law, have authored several articles on animal law in the ABA Tort Trial Insurance Practice Section Animal Law Committee newsletter, among others, and am a frequent speaker on animal law topics.
